Fun read! I keep reading scientists huffing about supplements producing nothing but expensive pee, and I wonder - is there a good evidence-base for all these compounds I’ve never heard of?
Yeah! Especially for creatine, which is one of safest and most-researched supplements, I suspect because all the big companies realized they could make a lot of money off of it, so they're happy to fund studies lol. Some of the newer stuff... it's a little bit of a cart-before-the-horse situation; like it's hard to see the financial incentive for something that isn't hugely scalable like colostrum.
