It def helps loosen up your sinuses so you breathe a little easier, but it doesn't really help get any of the pollen or anything out, so my symptoms would still persist. (I think it works best if you use it every day.... which I wasn't disciplined enough to do)
I've had a seemingly perpetual sinus infection ever since I got Covid in 2022, and I'm on the steroid nasal rinse, Sinupret, Zyrtec (generic), saline tip, DAILY. But I may level up to your irrigation device because a squeeze bottle can only do so much.
This might be the year my ENT finally convinces me to get those allergy shots though.
As a lifelong allergy sufferer, I have tried nasal sprays. They work great, until they dry my sinuses out so much that I get nosebleeds. I have not, however, tried any sort of nasal irrigator. The device you have there kind of terrifies me though. What if it malfunctions sucks my brains out through my nostrils? 😬
Needed this! BTW +1 to seeing an allergist, if only to be amused/mildly horrified by all the surprising allergens in your life.
read this last night and my allergies exploded this am. might have to invest in the irrigation system. but wish it wasn't so ugly!
I feel you. It looks like complete a*s but also not as big as the pictures make it look, so it's not horrible to store away
giving it a try then! Desperate. Thank you Chris!! x
Singulair + Ryaltris nasal spray (both Rx) has been life-changing for me
Immediately sent this to my partner!!
Are you still using the ClearUP? As a fellow Brooklyn allergy sufferer, I had it flagged since reading your post about it last year.
