In the evenings when I want to relax and enjoy a tasty beverage I've found Kombucha hits the spot. Tart, tangy, flavorful and bubbly. Plus it's good for your gut and hella fun to brew at home! (try the continuous brew method, way easier)
Baladin Ginger soda is a *perfect* dupe for an aperol spritz. Kind of uncanny. But I also really love the Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher for a zero cal option.
Love seeing (parantheses) by the amazing Tawny Lara featured! I’m coming up on 5 years sober, and that one choice benefited every single area of my life. 😊
Reed's Extra Strength Ginger Beer is my current go-to. It's complex with a pleasant burn and a touch of sweetness. The burn means it takes a while to drink which makes it fantastic at parties or for a cocktail hour, it looks good in a tumbler or as a mixed drink, and makes the tummy happy. Before a meal I like it with a dash of bitters, a splash of seltzer, and a luxardo cherry. After dinner it's wonderful close out all on its own and pairs well with all manner of desserts.
gotta shout out the italian NA aparetivos — crodino and san bitters. tastes like a negroni! volee is also excellent, think that’s only available in germany at the moment though
I quite drinking about 3 years ago having slowly cut down, I was drinking so infrequently that i would feel drunk after 1/2 a beer and wasn’t really enjoyable anymore.
Lucky Saint make a solid NA beer, that’s now available in most decent pubs in London. And a company called Gimlet make a good range of flavoured vinegars rhubarb, orange etc that are great with tonic.
a suggestion for the q&a / mailbag / readers pop off prompt: will you and casey johnston of she's a beast do an interview mag style piece at a local gym, should you find yourselves on the same coast? between you both, who is truly the bad boy of health and wellness media?? inquiring and loving minds want to know.

I’ve always found the caffeine messes with me if I drink kombucha too late.
Stappi is an incredible Italian bitter soda in a glass bottle that is unreasonably cute. Great over ice with an orange slice and some seltzer water!

Oh hell yeah. That can looks amazing too.
That’s a good one!
Minus Moonshine is great! Lovely owners, great curation and advice.
Looove seltzer with ACV — have you ever wilded out and tried coconut seltzer with ACV? I swear every sip does something fuzzy-good to my brain.
Hi Chris! Thanks for including (parentheses) on this excellent list. Hope to see you at Minus Moonshine again soon 🤘🏽
So so good. We're excited to pick up more
I love the idea, thank you, of using apple cider vinegar as part of a tiny n/a drink.... Will try tonight.x

I swear by Tilden. Period.
Will check it out!
Have you tried slimline tonic water with quite a few splashes of angostura bitters? I’m British so not exactly sure what seltzer is…
Oooo seltzer is just carbonated water. So no flavor additives like tonic!
